1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Creedmark ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including chapter administrators, members, council representatives, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

Creedmark is a platform designed for Greek-letter organizations to manage chapter operations, including but not limited to roster management, dues collection, event scheduling, recruitment tracking, grade reporting, and public-facing chapter websites. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Payments and Fees

Certain features of the Service require payment. All payments are processed through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these terms. Chapter dues, fines, donations, and other charges are facilitated through the platform. Creedmark collects a platform fee on transactions as disclosed at the time of payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Upload malicious code or content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the property of Creedmark and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (e.g., member data, event details, chapter information). By submitting content, you grant Creedmark a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creedmark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
